Cosmosphere Announces New Youth Organization Camp

    February 23, 2022

The list of youth organizations engineering a great summer at Cosmosphere is growing.

The Cosmosphere Camps line-up for Summer 2022 now includes Trail Life: STEM Camp. Other youth organization specialty camps offered this summer include Merits of Space for Scouts BSA and Space Research for Girl Scouts.

In each of the three camps, participants construct a cloud chamber to track cosmic rays, problem-solve for Mars exploration, map out a lunar surface rover mission, and apply teamwork and leadership skills to complete a realistic space flight simulation.

Trail Life: STEM Camp, open to boys entering grades 6-8, will offer brand new Trail Life awards. Merits of Space and Girl Scouts camps, open to Scouts entering grades 7-9, include hard-to-find badges such as Nuclear Science and Space Science Researcher.
